Executive Speech 242: Progress Returns to Washington

President Cincinnati Eleden gave this speech on September 17, 2007 to the American public on primetime television.

"Good Evening,

As I traveled across the nation last week, I continously heard the same question asked over and over again. 'When will the Executive Branch get back on it's feet?' Well tonight I'm going to answer that question to the best of my abilities.

Today I announced the first of many cabinet and executive appointments for this nation. Patrick Johnson is an experienced military General who guided our nation through the turbulent 70s as the Commander of NATO. He has the ability to be a specatcular Secretary of Defense, and I know that he'll serve with honor, pride, and a full commitment to the citizens of this nation. Tomorrow I will put forth another string of appointments in order to create a fully functioning Cabinet.

The Executive Branch of the United States is back in action, and progress will emerge in the days and weeks to come. I ask for your support and advice as we move forward into the future. We certainly have the tools to create a better America, and I vow to do whatever it takes to make sure prosperity and growth occur throughout this great nation."
