Executive Speech 253: Supreme Court

President Cincinnati Eleden gave this speech on October 27, 2007 to the American public on primetime television.

"Good Evening,

The Supreme Court of the United States has been inactive for almost a year now, and we're only a few months away from restoring the Judicial Branch to it's former glory.

Jeremiah Jay, the first Justice of the new Supreme Court, was confirmed by the Senate last week. He has assumed his duties and is preparing the first few cases for the next Justices to be confirmed. While it is true that the Court does not have the necessary amount of members to start it's hearings, this first confirmation is the first step towards restoring the checks and balances in Washington.

We're almost there America, and I promise that the Court will be back in session soon. "
